I’m L.A. Rosenzweig, founder of Impress Wallpaper. My story began in Canada, took shape in Los Angeles, widened in London, and ultimately found its home in New York. Each city taught me something different about design, character, and the power of a beautifully finished space.
While living in London, I became fascinated by the way wallpaper could transform a room without changing its architecture. A pattern could make a space feel warmer. A texture could add depth. A mural could give an ordinary wall a point of view. What began as an appreciation for interiors became a serious interest in the craft behind the finish.
New York gave that interest a purpose. I founded Impress Wallpaper around one simple belief: beautiful material deserves equally beautiful installation. The paper may be what first catches the eye, but the preparation, alignment, seams, corners, and judgment behind it are what make the finished room feel effortless.
Impress has grown from that standard. Today, our crews work in private homes, apartments, townhouses, hotels, offices, and major commercial properties. We install traditional wallpaper, murals, grasscloth, designer wallcoverings, specialty materials, ceilings, staircases, and complex architectural areas—and we supply designer wallpaper nationwide.
